Team Ramstein helps Spangdahlem replace antenna
Senior Airman Pedro Escamilla, 52nd Communications Squadron airfield system technician, ascends the Tactical Navigation antenna on Spangdahlem Air Base Jan. 18 2013. The 180 thousand dollar faulty antenna that sat atop a 65 foot tower was replaced. The 1st Communication Maintenance Squadron, the 52nd Communication Squadron and local contractors from Trier, worked together through the cold weather, to ensure that the tactical navigation system will be put back online.
