US, Greece strengthen partnership in Stolen Cerberus IV
U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Christopher Minnifield, 37th Airlift Squadron readiness superintendent, cuts excess cotton string from a knot around the rip cord of a parachute during Exercise Stolen Cerberus IV at Elefsis Air Base, Greece, April 24, 2017. The cotton string provides a barrier between two nylon straps, which generate heat when rubbed together and could damage the cord. Approximately 110 Airmen and three C-130s from the 86th Airlift Wing’s 37th AS, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, participated in Exercise Stolen Cerberus IV with the Hellenic air force and the U.S. Army from April 18 to 28.
