RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- Members of the 86th Maintenance Squadron precision measurement equipment laboratory flight ensure accuracy, reliability, quality and survivability of test measurement and diagnostics equipment. They maintain TMDE by sustaining the Air Force Metrology and Calibration certification in support of the United States Armed Forces in Europe, Central Command, African Command, contingencies, and deployed units. The laboratory currently supports 13,842 items in 425 different work centers and on average services more than 1,000 items monthly.
