Delivering the Season: Postal Clerks keep holiday mail moving Nov. 17, 2025

786th Force Support Squadron postal clerks are responsible for ensuring the flow of letters, packages, and parcels for military personnel, dependents, civilian personnel, and military retirees within the Kaiserslautern Military Community. November and December serve as a peak season for the post offices assigned to Ramstein Air Base. Postal clerks will deliver close to 100,000 packages and 150,000 letters, serving 22,000 customers in the KMC during the holiday season. The Northside Post Office is the largest post office in the Department of War and is twice the size of the post office on Aviano Air Base which is the second biggest among the bases within the U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Force Africa, according to David Stafford, 786th FSS lead postal service assistant.
