  • U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Cordell Merten, 603rd Air Operations Center noncommissioned officer in charge of the imagery support element, sprints toward the finish line during the Norwegian Foot March at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Nov. 5, 2022. Traditionally, the event simulated overnight movement by a dismounted light infantry element with the objective to seize attack positions.     U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Cordell Merten, 603rd Air Operations Center noncommissioned officer in charge of the imagery support element, sprints toward the finish line during the Norwegian Foot March at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Nov. 5, 2022.
