Volunteers are needed for Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command missions to Laos & Vietnam.

The mission of JPAC is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of all Americans missing as a result of the nation's past conflicts. The highest priority of the organization is the return of any living Americans that remain prisoners of war. To date, the U.S. government has not found any evidence that there are still American POWs in captivity from past U.S. conflicts.

All volunteers must meet the following requirements:

· Approved by their commander via signed memorandum to proceed on a 33 day TDY
· Fitness score of 75 or greater
· Tourist or official passport that does not expire within 6 months of mission completion
· Be in the grades of E-5 through E-8 (SrA can apply--CC must include statement in memo that attest to the selected airman's professionalism).

This mission is unit funded, but funds will be reimbursed upon augmentee filing travel voucher.
