Newcomer Spouses' Orientation Published May 10, 2010 By 86th Airlift Wing public affairs RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- The Ramstein Airman and Family Readiness Center invites all incoming spouses to the Newcomer Spouses' Orientation every Monday from 9 a.m. to noon in Bldg. 2120. This program is designed to give new spouses to the Kaiserslautern Military Community the tools needed to familiarize themselves with this assignment and all the area has to offer. A few of the topics include understanding German culture, basic German language, passport requirements for travel, driving and recycling. A cultural tour of the area will follow Wednesdays. The A&FRC also offers the quarterly Heart Link program that provides the tools needed to succeed as an Air Force spouse.
