Vogelweh main gate to close June 28 Published June 23, 2011 By 86th Public Affairs office RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- The main gate at Vogelweh will close at 5 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, due to construction of a new sports field. Traffic will be re-routed to enter and exit the base off of highway B270 through the old base exchange parking lot. The temporary gate will be used until the new entry gate off B270 is operational in late July. We appreciate your patience as we continue to improve the infrastructure around the KMC. Please drive safely and use caution in and around construction sites.
