The 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, provides combat-ready C-130J Super Hercules and designated visitor operational support aircraft and equipment to support European Command, Central Command and African Command mission taskings.

The more than 260 members of the 86th AMXS work 24/7 to make sure the success of 30-35 launches per week. Leading the Mobility Air Forces in C-130 and OSA maintenance execution through sustaining a perpetually compliant, accountable and mission-ready culture is what the 86th AMXS provides to the Air Force mission.
