Staff Sgt. Gavin Saiz, 86th Security Forces Squadron bike patrol, checks on-coming vehicles' speed in front of Bldg. 2402 at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, July 31, 2012.

Saiz said some of the biggest areas security forces have issues with speeding on base are the areas near the child development center, base library, post office and the 10-kph limit in the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center parking lot.

He also warned that there is a seven-day automatic suspension for anyone caught texting at a stop light.
