Members of the Eagle Vision One team conducted training for deployment operations April 8 to 12 at the 435th Construction Training Squadron training compound here.

As part of the 24th Intelligence Squadron, EV1 provides timely, flexible and tailored broad-area commercial satellite imagery products and services in support of combatant commander requirements.

"Being on the Eagle Vision team is an opportunity for intelligence professionals to get outside the typical scope of their jobs and take part in a very specialized mission," said 1st Lt. Carolyn Koval, EV1 flight commander. "We can deploy with very minimal notice, and it's important that our entire flight is ready in all aspects of their jobs and duties."

EV1 has deployed to locations in support of U.S. European Command, U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Central Command.

The week-long training ensured the nine-member unit can meet future rapid deployment requirements.
