RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Texas -- Kaiserslautern Military Community members celebrated Independence Day with a Freedom Fest at the Enlisted Club parking lot on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, July 4.

The festival consisted of carnival rides, a variety of food and live music, all to commemorate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, a statement announcing the thirteen American colonies as newly independent sovereign states and no longer under British rule.
