7/12/2012 - RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- The 86th Security Forces Squadron is responsible for safe guarding the base, resources, and protecting Ramstein Airmen and their families. Other responsibilities include maintaining the armory and arming posts throughout the base, information security and military working dog activities.

Defenders of the 86th SFS stay proficient in their career field due to their extensive training in law enforcement and combat tactics. Exercises are often held to give members first-hand experience with simulated situations while learning how to work as a team and build partnerships.
