Women from the 37th AS and 86th MXS came together for a women’s heritage flight during Women’s History Month.
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Marissa Loya, 37th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, was originally born in Albuquerque, N.M., and moved around a lot during her childhood but claims Maryland as her home.
A loadmaster assigned to the 37th Airlift Squadron was recognized as Airlifter of the Week for his outstanding work directing personnel and cargo airlift operations at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Feb. 18.
Exercise Operation Varsity 20-04, held from Oct. 13-23, used various scenarios to test the sustainability and readiness of base personnel.

Airmen and C-130s assigned to the 86th Airlift Wing participated in a bilateral training event called with Hellenic armed forces called Stolen Cerberus VII from Sept. 8-20. Airdrops are designed to quickly deliver supplies to service members in austere environments.

To commemorate the 76th anniversary of D-Day, eight C-130J Super Hercules aircraft from the 37th Airlift Squadron performed low level formations over several different locations in France. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, D-day events were condensed from their normal week-long commemorations.
