“NCO” Final lap during KMC Technical Sergeant Release

U.S. Air Force technical sergeant selects assigned to Ramstein Air Base pass through the finish line during the Technical Sergeant promotion release ceremony at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Aug 7, 2026. Over 200 selectees received mementos for their achievement to the “final” junior non-commissioned officer tier. The final lap theme was inspired by the acknowledgement of the rank technical sergeant being the last rank within the NCO tier prior to senior non-commissioned officer. As technical sergeants they are charged for remaining a technical expert while providing excellent attention to detail, establishing effective communication, and fostering a positive culture of trust within the organization.
