37th Airlift Squadron, 86th Operations Support Squadron execute historic highway landing in Sweden

U.S. Air Force Capt. Nicolas Routier, 37th Airlift Squadron C-130J Super Hercules aircraft pilot, and U.S. Air Force Capt. Mark Jabour, 37th AS C-130J Super Hercules aircraft pilot, begin their descent for a unique training exercise with the Swedish Air Force from Ramstein Air Base, Germany, June 2, 2026. The exercise entailed landing and taking off on a 55 feet wide zone surrounded by trees and power lines, enhancing the 86th Airlift Wing's ability to operate from dispersed locations and increase survivability in contested environments.
