37th AS hosts floor-loading training
U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 37th Airlift Squadron, as well as deployed Airmen assigned to the 621st Contingency Response Wing, Travis Air Force Base, California, and Quonset Point Air National Guard Station, Rhode Island, depart a C-130J Super Hercules aircraft after participating in floor-loading training at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Nov. 9, 2023. The 37th AS held this training event to rehearse floor-loading procedures used primarily in contingency operations and humanitarian aid missions, during which the maximum number of passengers are loaded onto an aircraft without the standard use of seatbelts or stanchions.
