Ramstein hosts memorial ruck, mini-marathon events

A Kaiserslautern Military Community member rests after completing a memorial ruck at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Sept. 9, 2023. The ruck was held in memory of former Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Paul Wesley Airey. Airey was the first CMSAF appointed to be an adviser to the Secretary of the Air Force on matters concerning welfare, effective utilization and progress of the enlisted members of the Air Force.
