U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Patrick Aizpurua, 786th Civil Engineer Squadron water systems maintenance apprentice, explains the water filtration process at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Jan. 31, 2023. Filtration is a 20-minute process, with water being pushed through three separate activated carbon filters, which act as a microscopic strainer, removing all the chemicals and particles within the water.
