86 AW partners with local pilot group
A group of glider pilots from various flying clubs in Rheinland-Pfalz gather to tour a C-21 Learjet 35 aircraft at Ramstein Air Base, Sept. 9, 2022 during a Mid-Air Collision Avoidance Meeting. U.S. Air Force Maj. Frank Adamik, second from the left, 86th Airlift Wing Safety flight safety officer, showed the glider pilots the interior and exterior of the plane. This allowed both U.S. and German counterparts to bond over flying experiences and stories. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Jordan Lazaro)
