86 AW partners with local pilot group
A group of glider pilots from various flying clubs in Rheinland-Pfalz tour the air traffic control tower located at Ramstein Air Base, Sept. 9, 2022, during a Mid-Air Collision Avoidance Meeting. The glider pilots partnered with the 86th Airlift Wing personnel to help translate text, allowing RAB to publish a notice to air missions to alert aircrews of the times, locations and altitudes of flying operations.
