Silver Flag builds runways, multi-capable Airmen
U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Au’Junay Nolan, Royal Air Force Lakenheath 48th Civil Engineer Squadron pavement equipment technician participates in a Silver Flag training course at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Nov. 18, 2021. Silver Flag teaches members from civil engineer, force support and vehicle maintenance career fields to learn skills necessary to complete large-scale base recovery and rapid air field damage recovery operations, which may be outside their primary duties. This is Nolan’s first time attending Silver Flag, which is required training every three years for civil engineer, force support and vehicle maintenance Airmen.
