U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 700th Contracting Squadron in-brief the mission and site commanders during Operation Open Horizon at the 435th Construction Training Squadron training compound on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Nov. 5, 2020. The exercise consisted of three teams – Bluefin, Sable and Sika – representing regional contracting offices established under a bare-base deployment scenario. Multiple exercise injects and different requirement packages were provided to test contracting specialists’ abilities to work as a team, prioritize and quickly execute the mission, while adhering to legal requirements.
