Agile Wolf 20-04: 435 CRG practices sling load operations

U.S. Airmen assigned to units within the 435th Contingency Response Group celebrate after successfully sling loading cargo onto a CH-47 Chinook helicopter at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, May 27, 2020. Sling loading allows Airmen to conduct rapid airlift operations in contingency environments. The 435th CRG worked with the U.S. Army 1-214th General Support Aviation Battalion, Wiesbaden, Germany, to provide the joint training as part of Agile Wolf 20-04. Agile Wolf 20-04 is an exercise designed to sharpen the 435th CRG’s tactics, techniques and procedures for establishing expeditionary airfields on demand. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
