German community vows to remember

A stereoscope sits in Synagogue Square at Kaiserslautern, Germany, Jan. 20, 2020. Several stereoscopes are placed around the square and show how the synagogue looked before it was destroyed. While Remembrance for the Victims of National Socialism is held annually on Jan. 27, service members and their families can recognize victims of the Holocaust by learning about the Kaiserslautern memorials and local history throughout the year.
