Rheinland-Palatinate state secretary visits Ramstein

Members of the 786th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal flight lay line to a simulated unexploded ordinance during Exercise Operation Varsity 19-04 at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Dec. 9, 2019. After examining the simulated weapon, personnel looped a chord around the UXO so that they could move it and test its stability from a safe distance. The scenario tested their ability to handle UXOs.
