Luxembourg trains support rapid deployment exercise to Poland
A Warehouse Service Agency employee directs a forklift operator to lower cargo onto a train car in Sanem, Luxembourg, July 23, 2018. The cargo travelled to 31st Tactical Air Base, Poznan-Krzesiny, Poland, as part of a deployment exercise to test the U.S. military's ability to rapidly process, deploy, and set up facilities, equipment, and vehicles in a location where little infrastructure exists. This was the first time in more than 25 years that the U.S. military has used a railway to transport equipment. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Elizabeth Baker)
