Seven CRW Airmen receive Bronze Star
Capt. Andrew Schnell received the Bronze Star Medal Nov. 21, 2017 during a ceremony at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. Schnell served as the contingency response airfield operations officer for the 921st contingency response element, during Operation Inherent Resolve in Northern Syria from November 2016 to February 2017. During this period, he oversaw each and every aircraft movement, synchronizing air traffic control, aerial port, aircraft maintenance, and command and control functions, ensuring the delivery of combat equipment and personnel.
