Ramstein celebrates Fire Prevention Week

A child from the Kaiserslautern Military Community runs a child fireman’s course during the Fire Prevention Week open house on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Oct. 7, 2017. The course included a fire hose drag, litter carry and forcible entry challenges. Fire Departments from Ramstein Village, Landstuhl, Carlsberg, and Technical Relief Foundation (THW) Kaiserslautern, participated in the parade and open house. This year’s theme, “Every second counts, plan two ways out!” encourages families to have more than one exit plan in case of an emergency. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Devin M. Rumbaugh)
