KMC members go gliding, learn skills, improve community
Emma Simons, right, Ramstein Middle School student, and U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Thanh Pham, middle, 86th Communications Squadron cyber vulnerability management technician, clean the rain off a glider after learning to glide at Lachen-Speyerdorf Air Field, Germany, Sept. 16, 2017. KMC members traveled to Lachen-Speyerdorf to try their hand piloting gliders. The opportunity, provided through 86th Force Support Squadron Outdoor Recreation program and the Single Airman Initiative, was intended to help build community and give participants an opportunity to better themselves through learning.
