86 MDSS keeps an eye on Ramstein medicine

Ice forms around the hose of an oxygen generator and liquefier as it pumps liquid oxygen into a next-generation portable therapeutic liquid oxygen system on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Sept. 7, 2017. The OGL is used to fill medical equipment with liquid oxygen and was recently purchased by the 86th Medical Support Squadron, along with a nitrogen generator, to cut their turnaround time for filling the equipment from three weeks to two or three days and to save the Air Force approximately $7,000 a month.
