Preventing tick-borne diseases
Pets are susceptible to tick bites and tick-borne diseases the same way humans are. According to PetMD, tick infestations are more common in dogs than cats. Be sure to check pets for ticks every time they come in from outside. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Devin Boyer)
