A 435th Security Forces Squadron’s Ground Combat Readiness Training Center Security Operations Course student assesses a simulated scenario on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, June 12, 2017. Airmen from the 100th SFS, 52nd SFS, 48th SFS, 31st SFS, 86th SFS, and 435th SFS spent the first week of the most recent course in the classroom learning basic combat skills necessary for these specific deployments, ending the classroom portion of training utilizing skillsets such as Combat Life Saver (CLS), got familiar with signs of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), and exercising drills of IED searches.
