Children of Ramstein lay flags to rest

A Cub Scouts of America leader takes a U.S. flag from a Cub Scout to lay on a fire during a Flag Day flag disposal ceremony on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, June 14, 2017. Ramstein personnel who are members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S., American Legion, Kaiserslautern Military Community Center Masonic Organizations, and Boy Scouts of America joined to lay U.S. flags to rest during a Flag Day flag disposal ceremony, marking the first time these four organizations had conducted such a ceremony on Ramstein in four years.
