721 AMXS gets wheels off the ground for C-5 maintenance

The landing gear of a C-5M Galaxy raised on six fuselage jacks lowers during a function check on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, May 3, 2017. During landing at Ramstein, the aircraft’s number four main landing gear did not lower. The crew was still able to make a safe landing, and the aircraft was towed, jacked, inspected, and repaired by Airmen assigned to the 721st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and 60th AMXS.
