Maintaining fitness goals with Ramstein classes
Members of the Kaiserslautern Military Community participate in a class led by Andrea Brooks, 786th Force Support Squadron Southside Fitness Center class instructor, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Nov. 29, 2016. From indoor cycling to yoga, the 786th FSS offers entry-level classes that anyone in the community can participate in. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, less than 5 percent of adults participate in 30 minutes of physical activity each day and only 1-in-3 adults receive the recommended amount of physical activity each week. Recent reports project that by 2030, half of all U.S. adults, approximately 115 million, will be obese. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Lane T. Plummer)
