Mortarmen provide Rock Proof V indirect fire
U.S. soldiers take cover after firing a mortar round Oct. 19, 2015, at Pocek Training Range, near Postojna, Slovenia. Mortarmen from the 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment supported exercise Rock Proof V with indirect fire as other assets provided close air support, artillery and machine gun fire.
