A-10s refuel over Europe, maintain forward presence
A-10 Thunderbolt IIs from the 354th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron fly next to a KC-135 Stratotanker from the 100th Air Refueling Wing after performing aerial refueling above Ramstein Air Base, Germany, March 26, 2015. The A-10s deployed as part of a theater security package in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. These deployment continuously operate on a rotational basis in order to provide the United States European Command commander, and other regional commanders, unique air capabilities necessary to support regional security and participate in distinctive training opportunities with European allies and partners.
