Aeromedical evacuation training

Serving as a safety spotter for an engines-running-off load of medical equipment and personnel, Capt. Stephanie Ellenburg, flight nurse, signals the number of able bodies needed for the next off at Ramstein Air Base, following a three-hour aeromedical evacuation training sortie. The flight-qualified healthcare providers, assigned to the 86th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, fly weekly with the 37th and 38th Airlift Squadron's C-130 fleet to remain proficient in their skills.
