Air Force Assistance Fund Kick-off
(From left) Brig. Gen. Bill Bender, 86th Airlift Wing and Kaiserslautern Military Community commander; Col. Don Bacon, 435th Air Base Wing commander; and Col. Kimberly Corcoran, 521th Air Mobility Operations Wing commander, kick-off the Air Force Assistance Fund Campaign March 2, 2009, at Ramstein Air Base. Money donated during AFAF goes to four organizations: the Air Force Air Society, the Air Force Enlisted Village, the Air Force Village Indigent Widows Fund and/or the General and Mrs. Curtis E. LeMay Foundation. The four organizations provide support to the entire Air Force family in need?including active duty, retirees, reservists, guard and their dependents, including surviving spouses.
