Up In $moke
According to a Department of Defense survey of health related behaviors among active duty military personnel, it is estimated that the DOD spends about $875 million per year on healthcare for smoking-related illnesses and lost productivity in DOD beneficiaries. All smokers are encouraged to quit smoking for 24 hours by participating in the Great American Smoke Out on November 19, 2009. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Nathan Lipscomb)
