Training with the French Military
Captain Walter Gray, an Airfield Operations Officer with the 435th Air Mobility Squadron, demonstrates the proper form and control of U.S. military parachute to members of the French military, March 2, 2010. Members of the 435th Contingency Response Group and the 5th Quartermaster Company joined with their French military counterparts for a week of training at the École des troupes aéroportées (ETAP), or School of Airborne Troops, a military school dedicated to training the military paratroopers of the French army, located in the town of Pau, in the département of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, France.
