485th shines at commander's conference
Lt. Col. Michael Charecky, 485th Intelligence Squadron commander, accepts the Chief Master Sergeant James C. Swindell Award Nov. 2 from the Chief's wife, June, her son Clay and Maj. Gen. Bradley Heithold, Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency commander. The unit award is given for outstanding communication and information operations systems support. The 485th IS is based at Mainz-Kastel, Germany.
