The 86th Medical Group hosted a mass casualty training March 13, 2014, Ramstein Air Base Germany. During the training Airmen played the role of patients suffering during a crisis while members of the medical group provided immediate care and transported them to a medical clinic as quickly as possible. Within about five seconds, first responders triage a patient, by looking for respiration, perfusions and check the mental status of each victim to determine the amount of care they need.
