Wing, family mourns loss of Airman

RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany --  An Airman from the 435th Air Ground Operations Wing at Ramstein Air Base died in Maidstone, England, in the early hours of Aug. 6 and has been identified as Staff Sgt. Ryan D. Austin. The 25-year-old Airman from Corbin, Ky., was assigned to the 1st Communications Maintenance Squadron.

The cause of death is still under investigation.

"We come together during this time of loss to support each other and our thoughts are with Staff Sgt. Austin's family and friends," said Col. Joseph D. McFall, 435th AGOW commander.
