RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- State Minister Achim Schwickert, Rheinland-Pfalz State Minister of the Interior for Integration and Transport, visits Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Sept. 2, 2026. The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen U.S. Air Force and host nation collaboration through an informational and capabilities brief centered on the 86th Airlift Wing’s mission. Over the decades, the office of the Ministry of the Interior for Integration and Transportation and 86th Airlift Wing have collaborated on a variety of security and infrastructure topics, ensuring a strong local working relationship.
