RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- Third Air Force and Kaiserslautern Military Community Commander, Maj. Gen. Paul Moga, hosted the first German-American Community Office meeting of 2025 today, Jan 27, 2025. The GACO is a monthly engagement where the KMC commander hosts German leaders to engage and collaboration on topics of interest to the host nation and American military communities alike. Moga hosted the County Commissioner Kaiserslautern, Ralf Leßmeister, the Deputy County Commissioner Kaiserslautern, Gudrun Heß-Schmidt, and the City of Kaiserslautern Deputy Mayor, Anja Pfeiffer. Topics of discussion ranged from the existing Kindergarten Cooperation partnership initiative, which focuses on fostering integration and cultural understanding to future opportunities for developing mutual aid agreements, collaborate force protection, and community blood drives.”
