Ramstein Airman who died identified

An Airman assigned to the 86th Airlift Wing, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, died from injuries sustained from an off-base vehicle accident on Sep. 5, 2023.

 

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Christopher Rocha, 23, of El Paso, Texas, served as an Alarm Monitor for the 569th U.S. Forces Police Squadron.

 

“Monday we lost a valuable member of our Team Ramstein family,” said Brig. Gen. Otis C. Jones, 86th Airlift Wing commander. “Senior Airman Rocha was an important member of our team and will be severely missed by all of us who had the honor to serve along side him. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with his family, friends, and coworkers during this time of loss.”

 

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
