17th Air Force members support presidential visit to Ghana
Staff James Townes, Tech. Sgt. Tracy Curtis and Capt. Daniel Hervas set up a tent at Kotoka International Airport July 1 at Accra, Ghana. The Airmen are among more than 150 Airmen, Sailors and Marines in Ghana and Sailors aboard the USS Iwo Jima who form a task force supporting President Barack Obama's visit July 10 and 11. Sergeant Townes is assigned to the 1st Combat Communications Squadron from Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Sergeant Curtis is assigned to the 621st Contingency Response Wing from McGuire Air Force Base, N.J.
