RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany --  The 86th Logistics Readiness Squadron is the Air Force's third largest defense fuels supply point providing assistance to three combatant commands; European, Central and African Commands.

The Black Knight's unwavering support greatly contributes to the various missions throughout the squadron, group, wing and DoD. This pursuit of excellence is widely recognized and rightfully honored with the prestigious 2011 USAFE's Golden Drum Award and rivals any challenger for the American Petroleum Institute's award as best fuels flight in the Air Force.
